      The roughies share the same core and feature ingredients as soaps from our regular range but might be out of shape, discoloured, older or a little smaller than usual. They may not share the same perfectly rugged appearance of our regular bars but are just as great at cleansing your skin! They are available in assorted flavours with limited availability and will come wrapped in paper without our regular boxes.

      Great soap!

      My first roughie, it was a summer dill. Nearly perfect, only the indentation of the logo was a tiny bit out. I’m happy with it. Works great as usual as a RB soap! Happy to buy them again.

      Cleanses well and really gentle!

      Finally finished my old soap bar and started on the peppermint roughie (about 2 weeks now).

      1) I love the idea of roughies. I get to get a soap bar that's uniquely shaped. Kinda feels like gachapon because you'll only know the scent when it arrives. Less packaging for me to toss too! (I have to sort my trash in NYC so...)

      2) The scent is STRONG. I just ran out of scented candles. Just having this in my bathroom works as a replacement.

      3) This is my favorite thing about the soap. I'm not breaking out from it! My skin is kinda sensitive so it's always a gamble when I try new body washes or soap bars. Perhaps because it has a relatively simple formula, this soap has been great for my skin.

      I have been using Rough Beauty for a while now. All their soaps always smell nice and feel great on my skin. Service is excellent and their response rate is fast. The roughies are a good way to try new scents. :)
